'Fergie looked amazing in a lime green bikini. She and Josh seemed very happy together,' a source is quoted as telling People magazine.
The couple have been staying at the secluded Maroma Spa and Resort on Mexico's historic Yucatan Peninsula during the break and have been spotted taking in the local sites.
'Josh and Fergie are enjoying lots of outdoor activities, including sunbathing, snorkelling, visiting the lowland rainforest and several historic Maya sites,' the source added.
Fergie, real name Stacey Ferguson, had been busy working out to lose the weight she gained for her new film Nine which also starred Kate Hudson, who was among the guests at her lavish star-studded wedding in Malibu.
Her Black Eyed Peas band mates, including will.i.am, attended the nuptials while Josh's Las Vegas co-stars including James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcil were also on the guest list.
Josh, 36, and Fergie dated for over three years before announcing their engagement in December 2007.
Fergie's personally designed engagement ring featured a 4-carat brilliant cut diamond set amid other diamonds.
A narrowed diamond wedding band completed the set while Josh's ring was made of white gold with a brushed finish.
The ceremony was followed by a reception in a tent decorated as a forest of trees, with the ceiling covered in lights.
A source said Fergie said: 'She looked amazing' and 'had lost all the weight' she had been forced to gain for her new role.
The wedding celebrations kicked off last week with a joint hen and stag night.
The couple invited 75 friends and family to the new Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica, a beachside suburb of Los Angeles last week for the festivities.
The pair are said to have decided on a joint party because they usually spend so much time apart.
