Lacey Turner turns Bond Girl in a skintight gold catsuit

When producers told Lacey Turner she was to dress as a Bond Girl for a forthcoming episode of EastEnders she 'didn't think anything of it'.

Then they handed her a gold lamé catsuit, which was skin tight.

She told the TV Times that she was not impressed with the outfit, saying: 'I had to wear the gold catsuit, which I didn't particularly like!

The costume department held it up and asked me "Do you want to wear this?" and I said "If I have to". When I put it on, it was skin-tight and I thought "Oh my God!"'

She continued: 'I've never seen a Bond film in my life! When they said Bond theme, I didn't think anything of it, because I didn't know the films.

'Now that I realise they dress in gold catsuits, I'm not a fan!'

The actress, who plays Stacey Branning in the BBC soap, dressed up as a Bond girl for husband Bradley's 007-themed 21st birthday bash.

Actor Charlie Clements, who wore a white dinner jacket for the party, added: 'Bond girls don't tend to wear a lot, do they?'

Lacey Turner swapped Walford's gloomy weather for the Middle East sunshine in yet another trip to Dubai.

This is the second time this year the EastEnders star has visited the Emirates to enjoy a relaxing break.

She must be suffering from a gruelling work schedule - taking more time off to frolic on the beach, this time in a skimpy orange bikini.


But Lacey, 20, appears to have been hitting the gym since January and has shed pounds over the last few months.

The brunette, who plays Stacey Slater, showed off her toned physique, taking a dip in the ocean to cool off between tanning with a female companion.

Lacey's new svelte shape comes after recently complaining she has been single for months, claiming men find her unattractive.

She said: "Most men think I'm ugly, so I don't get chatted up.

"The fellas you want to talk to don't come over, but you get the drunk ones who burp in your ear."

The 19-year-old star was in need of a well-earned rest after spending last year filming her character Stacey Slater's illicit affair with her husband's father and the dramatic Christmas Day fallout.

While some celebrities spend months getting in shape to show off their bikini bodies, laid-back Lacey let it all hang out in a red string two-piece.

Like many teenagers, Lacey was spotted scoffing junk food and swigging soft drinks on the beach.

Despite being thousands of miles away from home, the star was keen to keep in touch with the gossip back home and was spotted chatting away to friends on her mobile phone.

Lacey also flashed her secret tattoos - a celtic pattern on her lower back and the word 'love' across her left thigh.

Last month, Lacey admitted she watched the Christmas Day episode with her family, despite hating the sight of herself on screen.

She said: "My family are massive fans. I don't usually watch it when I am on as I can't bear to, but you can't miss EastEnders on Christmas Day can you?

"This year has been really good, I've been so lucky with the storylines I have had."

Fans of Stacey and Max are hoping the couple work out their problems and reunite.

Recent rumours suggest a Valentine's Day reunion may be on the cards for the young couple, but the BBC have refused to give away any storylines.
