Ava Klass steps out in rain with protective mummy Myleene

You might struggle to identify the mother and daughter pairing in this picture.

Both are practically unrecognisable - presenter Myleene Klass is rarely seen looking so dressed down, while daughter Ava has been kept out of the spotlight since her baby days were over.

Myleene, 31, and 2-year-old Ava were feeding ducks at the park near their home in North London.

Day out: Myleene Klass took 2-year-old daughter Ava to the park - and was well prepared for bad weather

Thankfully, Myleene was well-prepared for inclement weather, as the duo's visit was swiftly hampered by rain.

Myleene had brought a large see-through umbrella in case just such an eventuality arose, and had also brought food for the ducks.

Rather than use bread from M&S, who Myleene advertises for, she brought along the - likely stale - remnants of a packet of Morrison's Value Scotch Pancakes.

While Myleene wore a low-maintenance stretchy black V-necked dress, Ava looked stylish in a mini biker jacket and jeans.

Myleene's hair was scraped off her face and into a plait, while Ava's hair was in bunches.

After feeding the ducks, the two headed home, but not before Ava gave her new friends a goodbye wave.

Myleene has experieced a career renaissance since her ill-fated days in Hear'Say.

She has become a popular presenter and recently went to Costa Rice to present the U.S. version of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

She also models for companies like M&S and has her own baby clothing label for Mothercare.

Myleene Klass’s career was dead before I’m A Celeb', says Ulrika

Ulrika Jonsson has accused Myleene Klass of using reality TV to revive her 'paralysed' career.

Jonsson said the 30-year-old former Hear'Say star only appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2006, for which she was reportedly paid £100,000, so she could boost her public profile.

Ulrika Jonsson accused presenter Myleene of using reality television to revive her 'paralysed' career

In a magazine interview, Jonsson, 41, said: 'I know I'm A Celebrity pays well and it's been known to enhance even the most paralysed of careers - ie Myleene Klass - but I don't like the thought of being stuck in the same rainforest as Robert Kilroy-Snake.'

But Jonsson is no stranger to reality TV, having taken part in Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, ITV's Dancing On Ice and Channel 4's Come Dine With Me.

Jonsson spoke to Closer as tensions rose in the jungle camp last night. Timmy Mallet pushed contestants to the limit with a smug victory in the Bush Battle, with Page 3 girl Nicola McLean saying she wanted to 'knock him out'.

Myleene the mermaid breathes easily again after 'exhausting' stunt dive for American TV

Myleene Klass has consistently reinvented herself since winning Popstars to land a place in Hear'Say back in 2001.

The 30-year-old has a CV that boasts singer, classical musician, actress, model and radio and television presenter.

And now the mother-of-one has added yet another string to her bow by spending a whole day in a water tank to see how underwater scenes are filmed.

Real-life mermaid: Myleene Klass learned how underwater scenes are filmed

As part of her monthly CNN film programme The Screening Room, Klass emerged with a few minutes of film of her swimming in a white dress without an oxygen mask.

During her day at Pinewood studios, she was trained and watched over by a stunt team that included a driving instructor who has worked with Angelina Jolie.

Klass said: 'I found the stunt a lot more exhausting and physical than I expected it to be.

'I was wearing three weight belts to keep me on the sea bed and I had to keep equalising, yet try and look graceful.

Solitude: Myleene spent a whole day shooting the underwater scenes

My dress kept floating up over my head, my hair kept getting in my mouth and my eyes went red in the water. Being underwater was emotionally really liberating though.

'The only scary bit was when I thought the diving instructor was to the left of me, but he was to the right. I swam around looking for him but by the time I got to him I had no air left, it was a bit freaky.

'When I got outside, I looked like a giant prune.'

Myleene confesses: 'I felt fat in THAT bikini'

This picture of Myleene Klass looking sexy and curvaceous in a white bikini has become an almost iconic image – but she has confessed she felt PODGY in it.

The former Hear’ Say star had given birth to baby daughter Ava just three months before the Marks & Spencer shoot and felt sick with insecurity over her figure.

The 30-year-old revealed: “I’m only 5ft 5ins and I had a bit of a tummy. I felt small and podgy.”

To make matters worse, the new mum was on location with super-skinny models Erin O’Connor and Twiggy.

And when the stylists gave her a bikini to put on, Myleene confesses she felt “physically sick”.

She said: “I said to them ‘You do realize I just had a baby three months ago?’

“It was really difficult for me to overcome my issues so soon after giving birth.”

Having put on four stone during the pregnancy, the classically-trained pianist was feeling decidedly heavier than her usual nine stone.

And after slimming down to a svelte eight stone after her stint in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!, Myleene was feeling especially self-conscious about her extra pounds.

But looking back on the experience, she told The People: “I’ve realized M&S picked me because I’m not a model, I’m a real woman with curves.

“I’ve got stretch marks, and I wobble in different places now – but it’s just like war wounds and I wear them with pride.”

Myleene has admitted her transition to motherhood has been anything but plain sailing.

She says she felt let down by the NHS after a shortage of midwives meant she had to wait nine days for a home visit after her daughter’s birth.

The star felt “isolated and lonely” afterwards and even considered leaving her fiancé Graham Quinn.

Happily though, the pair seem to have come through the experience and are even considering adding to their family.

Myleene said: “If you had asked me a few months ago, I’d have said no way any more kids.

“But nature has a way of making you forget. I’m broody again…”

Myleene gets her love handles erased for bikini promo

Classical musician and television presenter Myleene Klass has one of the most envied celebrity figures.

But the curvy star's love handles were considered surplus to requirements by M&S, who erased them in the newly released photos for their summer swimwear advertising campaign.

Just five months after she gave birth, Myleene was back at work on a South African beach posing in a sunny yellow bikini.

And although she looked in pretty amazing shape for a new mother, as these pictures show, the 29-year-old television presenter was given the Photoshop treatment to trim her curvy love handles.

The results can clearly be seen in the newly released promotional shot of the stunning classical artist, which shows a very sleek-figured Myleene, with very trim hips.

However, in the un-retouched photo, her curvy love handles can be seen slightly overhanging her bikini bottoms.

New mum: Myleene completed the photoshoot in January, just five months after giving birth to daughter Ava, and the star looked slim and curvy post-baby

Myleene, who gave birth to baby Ava last August, showed off her trim figure as she modelled on the beach on South Africa, for Marks & Spencer's summer swimwear campaign.

But the former I'm A Celebrity contestant, who turns 30 in April, has insisted she would never succumb to the fashion industry's size zero obsession.

She said recently: "Here I am surrounded by these models who are six foot two and they've got perfect bodies, but then I'm thinking, well, my role here is to be me.

"When M&S signed me up, they knew that I'm only five foot five and a half and not a size zero.

"I'm certainly not a supermodel, like Twiggy or Erin O'Connor."

But since then, she appears to have lost even more weight, as she showed off a very slim figure at the Mayfair Personality of the Year Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel earlier this month.

Myleene's ultra-slim appearance prompted onlookers to wonder where her famous curves had disappeared to.

The star has put her rapid weight loss down to her hectic schedule and the demands of motherhood.

She has said: "I think breast-feeding helped, and running up and down stairs all day."

But her shrinking frame is likely to disappoint admirers - including fiancé Graham 'Gray' Quinn - who have celebrated her shapely physique.

Myleene said recently: "Gray hates it when I get too thin, he calls me Boney M."

Myleene Klass quickly shed her four stone baby weight after welcoming her daughter Ava in August, but now it appears she is in danger of losing her trademark car-crash curves.

The new mother cut an incredibly lean figure in a tight black satin gown as she arrived to host the Mayfair Personality of the Year Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday night.

Radiant Myleene gets her figure back just six weeks after giving birth

Just six weeks after giving birth to her first child, Myleene Klass appears to have regained her revered figure.

The 29-year-old, who welcomed baby Ava Quinn in August, looked radiant in a navy frock as she arrived at London's South Bank.

Klass was said to be keen to lose her baby weight before returning as a presenter on the BBC's magazine programme The One Show.

Sources say she allowed herself a couple of weeks of "gluttony" after the birth, but planned to embark on a punishing training regime of running and stomach crunches to get back in shape.

But don't expect her swift weight loss to be taken to the extreme - the singer and M&S model loves her curves.

She has said: "When I was at my smallest - when I had dieted down to a size 8 - I was at my most unhappy."

"I was in a miserable relationship and my career was nowhere. The best things have happened to me when I am at my most natural and curvy."
